Dominic; A.K.A Ch!mes, is a UK-based electronic music producer from a lovely named town called Slough. He started his music producer journey back in 2015 when he got bored during preparations for GCSE exams in secondary school. He was drawn to what a full-time career in music could offer - freedom and opportunity to build something for himself by himself. It then became his goal to become a skilled and successful music producer. He taught himself how to mix and master, using electronic elements to create his own world of sound. A few years later, he garnered support from high-profile music blogs and radio such as Acid Stag, Stereofox, The Word Is Bond, SwanoDown, Kane FM, Amazing Radio and Night Swim Radio. Furthermore, Ch!mes has caught the attention of a prestigious label called Kitsuné Musique which released songs by artists/bands such as Two Door Cinema Club, Olly Alexander (Years & Years) and Mark Ronson. Ch!mes likes to experiment with sounds to create something truly unique. Previously focusing on future bass, ambient downtempo, trap, Hip Hop and R&B, his style has become increasingly experimental as he seeks to innovate further than generic commercial music. Heavy basslines, punchy and interesting drum patterns as well as unique sound design are his specialty.
